I’m Wepnyu Laurence — a self-taught digital entrepreneur, wealth warrior, Brand/Marketing strategist for companies and coach for absolute beginners.
My Story
For nearly a decade, I learned digital skills in silence — often the hard way. I left home at 19, faced life with no safety net, and got married at 23 while still living from hand to mouth. I once owed 8 months’ rent. I had no savings, no job security, yet I carried inside me digital skills worth hundreds of dollars in the western world.
Still, I was stuck. Trapped by environment. Surrounded by scammers, disappointed by hypocrites, and abandoned by those I once trusted. But I never gave up
I believe great ideas deserve great experiences. My journey began with a passion for visual storytelling and a sketchbook; today I build brand systems, websites and product interfaces that tell those stories clearly and memorably.
Over the last eight years I’ve worked with startups, agencies and solo founders to craft identities, build responsive websites and design user interfaces for web and mobile. My process blends strategic brand thinking with hands-on design: research and user testing inform wireframes; wireframes shape UI; UI becomes a product that people enjoy using. I’m equally comfortable designing a pixel-perfect logo or prototyping a new app flow in Figma.
I bring more than tools to the table — I bring measurable outcomes. Past projects have increased client engagement and, in some cases, directly contributed to double-digit growth in sales and signups. I hold professional certificates from Adobe, Meta and Google, and I continuously update my skills to stay ahead of design and marketing trends.
Based in Abu Dhabi, I work remotely with clients globally. I speak English and French and I’m learning Arabic to deepen my connection with the region. Outside of work you’ll find me exploring new typefaces, reading product design case studies, or testing micro-interactions in side projects.
